More New Dart Tag

Thanks once again to urbantaggers, I now have news of 2 more rumored dart tag guns: the dart tag 16 and dart tag 6
The dart tag 16 is very similar to the raider, as it uses slamfire and just looks a lot like it. And the "clip" looks pretty cool, but just one question, how will it be loaded. Well I still don't know so I guess we'll have to wait. Another cool thing about it is the bannana "clip". Looks awesome.



Next is the dart tag six. It's a sidearm that holds six darts and looks like it's primed using the maverick mechanism.

New Super Soaker news

While I'm not a big Super Soaker fan, these new super soakers seem to set the bar high for super soakers. According to Urbantaggers, these new guns set for a 2011 release will boast all new refill clips for easy reload. Guns in this range include the Hydro blast, Thunderstorm, and Tornado strike.







Also to be released are two new sidearms,the Scatter Blast and Point Break, which don't use the clips.

Nerf Dart Tag 20 gets a name change

According to Urbantaggers, the official name of the Dart Tag 20 is now the "Swarmfire".Which I guess makes sense, because it does hold 20 darts.

What I saw at TRU

I went to my local toys r us on Friday, and here's what I saw:
-they had some of the sonic series guns, including the deploy,recon,nite finder and maverick
-they also had the value packs, which are the barrel break with a tactical light, longstrike with bandoiler,and the deploy with the flip clip.
Unfortunately there was no spotting of the Barricade yet,but I'll keep checking back and keep you informed.

First it was the yellow vulcan, then the sonic series vulcan, and now nerf seems to be topping all of these previous releases with the clear series vulcan (yes, you heard me right). This epic new release features the clear shell with red darts and is only availible at target. Thanks to urbantaggers for the news.

Nerf Sonic Series: Spotted in U.S.

According to urban taggers, the sonic series recon has been spotted in Toys "R" Us for $25.00. Its a little more expensive than the clear series, but it looks worth it.

Barricade: Availible for pre-order on Hasbro.com

The nerf Barricade is now availible for pre-order on hasbro.com at $16.99, and free shipping with the coupon code "FAMILY2010", with a shipping date of Dec.6, 2010.
It holds ten darts and runs on a flywheel system, which means it's as loud as heck and uses 2 AA batteries.Its semi-auto with a revolving camber like the maverick, so the darts have to be loaded manually, and it has a tactical rail and attachment for the recon and raider stocks.

Nerf Dart Tag 20 Blaster

Another new nerf blaster has popped up on e-bay, the nerf dart tag 20 blaster,all for the convinient price of $140!



So far, what I know is that its a full auto nerf dart tag blaster that runs on 6 C batteries, has a removable stock, and obviously, holds twenty darts.



There's no news yet on a possible release date, but it'll probably be out around January or Feburary.

Barricade: Spotted in Australia

According to Urbantaggers, the Barricade has been spotted in Australia.



It seems like it'll be in the states by Christmas, and it'll make a nice christmas present.

Nerf Sonic Series-CONFIRMED

According to urbantaggers, the nerf sonic series, reported earlier, is infact real. As far as I know, they are translusent green reshells of the maverick, recon, nite finder, deploy, and drumroll please..... the vulcan!
I've been holding off on the vulcan for a while, but this version might finall persuade me to buy it.
They are Toys "R" Us exclusives and are now availible for preorder online.

Review: Barrel Break IX-2

The Barrel Break IX-2 is the first nerf blaster of it's kind:a shotgun. The way this works is by pressing a switch by the trigger which pops out the two barrels, after that you press the barrels down, put in the darts, flip the barrels back up, and you have a double-dart blasting shotgun. The ranges out of box are pretty good, about 30 feet. The accuracy is also great. All of my shots on my white-board enemy were either head or torso shots. Another good thing about the barrel break is that it comes with a very useful 8-dart holder tactical rail acsessory. The barrel break is compatible with all kinds of darts except the srteamlines because like the night finder, the darts just fall out.It includes the darts holder and ten whistler darts. It's a toys r us exclusive and costs $20.00. The only con I can see abut this gun is the low rate of fire, which is 20 rounds per minute.ANother thing I've noticed is that the gun has only jammed once, so it has great performance. I would definetley reccomend this gun for any nerf fan. It has a great range, great acuracy, and a great cool factor.

apparentey nerf is planning to launch a new series of guns called the sonic series which is basically the clear series guns with a green tint to them.
do I want them, you bet I do.
but with no official release from hasbro yet, it might take a while.

Raider CS-35 Clear Series with Red Darts

I just saw the commercial for the clear raider. It's all of the raider awesomeness in clear form. It's a terget exclusive and comes with red streamlines. It goes for $30.00.
